Tron Legacy is opening this Friday! Its hard to believe it has been twenty-eight years since Disney released the original cult classic Tron.

West Coast Monograms is proud to have played our small part in the new film. This project brought some of the brightest minds in film to push the limits of real-life action and computer generated effects.

Our part involved some cool special embroidery effects as well. To keep with the neon styling of Tron, we used a rare glow in the dark thread, appropriately named "Glowy" for the embroidery work. This thread had to be brought in from Germany. See a sample below:
